TabTrade Review - A Look at This New CFD Broker

TabTrade — The Short Version

TabTrade launched in Q1 2026. CFD broker based in Saint Lucia, licensed through the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, an well-known broker.

His background matters. It means the leadership knows how a proper broker operates. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. But more reassuring than a random name you cannot trace.

The broker opened with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same infrastructure banks and hedge funds use. The typical new launch leads with marketing and bonuses. TabTrade went the other way. Interesting choice.

The instrument list: forex, indices, metals, commodities, shares, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For a broker that launched in March 2026, the breadth is broad.

The Software

Available: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and a browser platform. Both MT5 and cTrader from a single account. Many only give you one or the other. Access to both matters. Pick what suits your style.

MT5 is the industry standard. Complete charts, automated trading, massive community. If you have traded on MetaTrader previously, there are no surprises.

cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Cleaner order book. Faster charting. Built-in algo trading. Plenty of traders prefer it after comparing.

FIX API is there for algo traders but needs the VIP account ($25,000 to open). TradingView charting is apparently on the roadmap. That would make the platform set when it lands.

Costs

Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. 1.0 pip spreads. Zero commission. Simple. Zero deposit requirement. Good for people who want simple pricing.

Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On majors, the actual interbank spread is often under 0.2 pips. So your actual cost per trade sometimes sits below 0.5 pips. That is good for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that run raw pricing at this level want $500 or more to open. TabTrade has no minimum.

VIP. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, faster fills, tailored rates. Not something typical accounts. Do not worry about it unless you move real size.

Infrastructure

The speed is the thing this broker stands apart. Equinix servers in London. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. These are not marketing fluff. The average platform operate at a much wider range.

Should you care? If you trade small timeframes, absolutely. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you hold positions longer, you will not notice. But the fact that the infrastructure is there. That signals something about priorities.

Combine that infrastructure with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the overall offering makes sense. Not many platforms at this price point offer execution like this.

The FSRA Question

Here is the part that matters. Tab Trade is regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is offshore. No CySEC. No investor compensation scheme. If that is a dealbreaker, this broker is not for you. There are FCA-regulated options out there.

But. The person running it came from BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The Equinix infrastructure costs real money. Scam brokers do not invest in Equinix connectivity. This does not replace tier-1 regulation. It does inform how you think about it.

The trade-off: you give up tier-1 protection. For that: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether this deal makes sense comes down to your priorities.

The Bonus

TabTrade has bonus funds of up to $2,000. Standard welcome offer. You fund your account, the broker add bonus funds. Usual conditions attached: minimum lots traded before you can withdraw the bonus. Check the terms before you commit.
